Schematic Design is the next stage of the design process. We use the site analysis from the Discovery Phase to develop conceptual options, including image boards and early site plans, that establish the overall character and direction of your garden. We present these options for your review, and together we select one preferred approach to carry into the next phase.

Design Development drawings represent a more advanced, detailed phase of the design process, reflecting key Owner decisions on the project's direction, materials, and systems. At this stage, drawings are developed with increased specificity and precision to clearly communicate design intent. The added level of detail provides the information needed to generate an Opinion of Probable Cost, a refined cost estimate that helps the Owner evaluate the project's financial feasibility and make informed decisions before moving into the construction documentation phase.

During the Construction Documentation (CD) phase, WCDG produces a comprehensive set of drawings that translate the approved design into precise, buildable instructions. These include plans, sections, elevations, and detailed drawings that clearly specify the materials, dimensions, and finishes required for construction. Together, these documents serve as the primary reference for guiding the accurate and consistent installation of all project components.
